I picked this product up on a complete whim from Duty Free in Mexico, on our way home. I’d read a few reviews on it before picking it up, but decided to give it a go and see what I thought.
The lady at the YSL counter sat me down and matched me up with the shade that best suited my skin tone. We both decided on shade 1, which is more pink toned, which suits my skincare perfectly. This is the lightest shade they do.
I quite like the clickable pen concept, although the first time you use it, you have to click it about 20+ plus times to get the product to the brush, but it explains this in the direction sheet inside the box.
It really helps to brighten my eyes, and gives a great coverage to dark circles. It doesn’t cake and blends really easily, I tend to use a finger to do this.
I also apply this down the centre of my nose, and blend. It adds the perfect highlight, without looking too shiny.
The only downfall with this product, for me, is that you can’t see when the product is running out. I can imagine it being a sad day when I go to use it, and there is nothing left inside.
I’m so glad I decided to give this product a go, and wouldn’t hesitate to re-purchase it again.
