THIS POST CONTAINS GIFTED ITEMS
I can’t believe how quickly Father’s Day has come around! It actually took me by surprise and I had a whole ‘oh shit’ moment. I am a HUGE fan of personalised gifts, especially when it is a present from the boys so I thought I would share a couple of personalised Father’s day gift ideas – all of which can be bought online which right now, is essential!
I actually really dislike buying gifts for Aaron, when it comes to birthdays & christmas, I feel like i’m always buying him the same things which is why personalised presents are fab! My Dad is really sentimental about personalised gifts too, thoughtful things, especially from his kids & Grandchildren!
Hooray Heroes is an amazing brand that specialises in personalised books & they have recently released their Daddy edition of “Ruby, You’ll Always Be My Little Girl”. You can fully personalise the child & parent illustrations right down to facial hair, eye colour, glasses & freckles which I think makes it even more special. You can pick from a range of different mini stories that best fit with your child – starting school, bedtime stories ect. The book is so lovely & colourful which is great for young children – makes for a much more fun reading experience. You can also add a lovely dedication at the beginning of the book which I think is a nice added touch, along with a cardboard gift box for your book to come in with a pack of crayons so your child can get creative! It’s such a special gift and I know it will be a firm favourite of Teddy & Aarons, as he gets older.
There are a few websites that are my go to when it comes to buying gifts for people & Funky Pigeon is definitely one of those websites! They offer a HUGE selection of gifts including alcohol, photo gifts & experience days. There are so many amazing things to pick from & it did take me a while to narrow down my choices.
I eventually did, and opted for this gorgeous photo block with a picture of Aaron & Teddy – it is one of my favourites! Aaron is also a avid brew drinker so you can’t go wrong with a mug covered in the boys pictures. It is such good quality, the pictures look amazing and apparently it “has a good handle” according to Aaron – LOL. As someone who hates hot drinks I can’t relate but he seems to know his stuff.
Why not gift a bottle (or two) if wine straight to their door? There are some great online wine shops . I highly recommend a sparkling wine (my Dad’s favourite – LOL) This is a delightfully unusual bubbly. It is made from Nebbiolo, which is normally reserved for the legendary reds of Piemonte: Barolo and Barbaresco. It was made using the classic method – similar to the way Champagne is made. I also really rate a sweet wine (which is my personal favourite!) – Ideal as an aperitif – and irresistible on summer afternoons – this beautiful and light Italian sparkling wine has distinct aromas of guava and pear.
