Easy Easter Crafts.

As I mentioned in my Baby’s First Easter Basket post, I absolutely love Easter. Well I love any occasion where it is acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast – but there is something extra special about Easter, I think it’s because it marks the (supposedly) warmer weather and sunnier days.

I was lucky enough to be sent a wonderful box full of Easter craft goodies last week from GBC GROUP (& some chocolates, of course) so I roped my nieces in for some messy fun! The box contained some make-your-own bunting, paint your own eggs, some little chicks (that my youngest niece LOVED!) and also, which I was most intrigued by, was a Eggling in which you grow your own lavender! I will also be sharing some other Easter crafts – written by other bloggers, to help give you some last minute inspiration!

The girls had the most fun with the “paint your own eggs kit”! I think it’s the paint and the chance to get slightly messy. I think these eggs would look lovely on a small branch type tree, decorated with lots of these little eggs. I found some amazing inspiration for an Easter Tree on Anklebiters Adventures blog, where she shared her DIY for under £10!!

If you are after a quick & easy craft, then you should definitely check out Family Makes post on last-minute Easter ideas, beautifully decorated vases & candle holders made out of jars. If messy play is more your thing (it’s definitely Teddy’s favourite activity) then you should go on over to Thimble & Twig’s blog and have a look at her Squidgy Easter Egg post.

Kids Easter Egg Craft

For Christmas we made handmade cards to give to close family using Teddy’s little footprints & I absolutely loved them, I really wish I had thought to do them for Easter! If you are lacking some ideas for last minute Easter cards, I would definitely have a look at this post from Popitha.

I hope you all have a lovely Easter weekend & that you get to enjoy ALLLL the chocolate.
