Nourishing Hair Care Duo | Herbal Essences.

My hair is the bane of my life. When it’s long, I want it short. When it’s short, I want it long. My hair can never win. Poor hair.
One thing I do like about my hair is the fact that it is in pretty good condition, i’ve never dyed it and I don’t have any split ends! I very, very rarely use heat on my hair and when I do, I use a lot of heat protecting products. I also apply coconut oil & Moroccan oil on a regular basis to keep it in tip-top condition!
The only thing that really bugs me about my hair is the fact that because it is so thick and curly, it can feel really dry and damaged so I am always on the lookout for the perfect hair products.
I’m a bit of a slut when it comes to shampoos & conditioners. I use one, bin it and then move onto the next best thing. I don’t tend to stay faithful to one particular brand or type of shampoo, I usually just buy what’s on offer, watching the pennies and all that!
However one hair brand that has ALWAYS stood out to me and never lets me down is Herbal Essences. I’ve used so many of their shampoos and conditioners and have loved ever single one. As I was perusing the hair care aisles of my local supermarket I noticed the new addition to the Herbal Essences family “Nourish Me Butter”. I word NOURISH jumped out at me straight away and the bottle threw itself in my basket, along with it’s nourishing conditioner.
From the first wash my hair felt softer, smoother and healthier in general, it also helped to detangle my hair, which thanks to the thick curls, can become quite (VERY) knotty. It also smelled incredible, quite creamy with hints of Caramel *YUM*.
I am really loving using this pairing and it doesn’t break that bank (400ml is currently £1.75 at Boots.) I don’t see the need to spend a fortune on shampoo & conditioner when you can get the exact same results from a brand that you can pick up at the supermarket.
Herbal essences has done it again! I think they may have tamed the haircare slut in me..
Which shampoo/conditioner combo are you currently loving or using at the minute?

I'm such a haircare slut too, I'm always chopping and changing between products. I love the honey herbal essences that Nicole scherzy has a great time with, but even that I get bored of. I also really like the body shops banana shampoo and conditioner, I don't use heat on my hair either and they keep it soft and as frizz free as curly hair can be!

You're hair sounds dreamy. Honestly, the amount of chemical and heat damage I've put my poor hair through, I'm not surprised it keeps leaving me. I'm not a haircare snob by any means but I've never reached for Herbel Essences, it sounds like it'd be right up my street though. Next time it's on offer, it's mine.

I feel the same about my hair! I've been growing it for so long. It got longer than I'd ever hoped it would, but I felt it wasn't lying properly. So I got quite a bit cut off. It's not short, but still much shorter than the length I'd grown it to. I'm currently using the John Frieda Frizz-Ease range. I've loved it for years & is the best line I've found for my curly hair! Xx
