Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede

Whilst attending Vogue Fashion Night Out in Manchester a few weeks ago, whilst in Harvey Nichols, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the Jo Malone section of the store. They were sampling their new fragrance and to say it was love at first sniff.. would be an understatement. I walked away, came back, sniffed, walked away again, came back again, and before I knew it, I was picking up a 30ml bottle and putting my card into the card machine. god damn it, don’t you just hate it when that happens?!

I did want a big bottle, but I just couldn’t part with £78.00, so for a still slightly expensive £39.00, it was mine, and I must say.. I wouldn’t hesitate to pay that again. Which I definitely will be doing as soon as i’ve finished this bottle.

Firstly, the service at Jo Malone was amazing, so helpful and friendly. I also got given a card for a free hand massage, off the staff. I’ll definitely be taking advantage of that 😉 The packaging is also a huge plus, so simple yet sophisticated. The packaging is actually that lovely, that everytime I use the perfume, I put it back it’s little box. Is that normal??

The smell, is just..out of this world, floral yet not too girly, luxurious, flirty and fresh. I absolutely love the smell of peonies, so this perfume is just perfect. I get so many compliments when I wear this, and the smell lasts for hours! When the sales assistant sprayed it on a card for me and I sniffed it a couple of hours later, it was like she’d only just sprayed it. Now that is a huge thing for me with perfumes. I hate those perfumes that you spray and you just can’t smell them on you at all. A waste of money.
This perfume however, was completely worth it 🙂

Congrats on your new perfume! I've always wanted a Jo Malone scent but never found one I liked, this one sounds like I might finally buy one too! 🙂 I bought a Bond no 9 perfume in New York this summer and it too comes in a beautiful box that I always put it back inside of after spritzing – so don't worry he he your not the only one!! 🙂 xx

I love Jo Malone, I have the…. nectarine blossom one I think it is?? I received a sample of this peony one and it really reminds me of another famous scent but I can't for the life of me remember which one!! | UK Beauty Blog
