Top. 3. Cleansers

Hey Guys! Cleansing is a massive part of my skincare routine, as i’m sure it is for many of you. I have tried and tested many cleansers the past few years, but in the last 12 months, I have found some little gems. I thought I would tell you guys my top 3 cleansers, and why I love them so much.
I picked up my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish; from Boots in Manchester, when it was the triple points weekend (always a bonus!). I had heard so many great things about this product, that as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to snap it up. I used it as soon as I got home, and it was love at first sight. It smells amazing and fresh, and leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. It contains Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa butter and Eucalyptus essential oil. It is suitable for all skin types, which I think is fab. It is great for removing the last few traces of maekup aswel.
I clean my face, getting rid of any makeup and everyday gunkiness, with my Bioderma and then use 2 pumps of my Liz Earle. I massage this into my face and neck, very gently, before soaking a muslin cloth or regular face cloth, in hand-hot water. I then slowly polish the cleanser off using soft circular motions.
I hadn’t heard many things about the Soap & Glory:Peaches and Clean; but the name just drew me in, again, whilst I was in Boots. I was browsing the Soap & Glory section (as per usual) and spotted this 4-in-1 Deep Cleansing Milk. As soon as I saw the name ‘Peaches & Clean’, I knew I had to have it. It literally smells like peaches! I thought it was going to be one of those products that says it smells of something amazing..but really doesn’t. Well, this is not one of those products, my friends! It smells like a lovely fresh, juicy peach. NOM. It, again, is suitable for all skin types, which is always a bonus. It contains Peach extract, Guillaja Bark (a gentle, natural ‘soap’), Detoxyboost technology and poreshrink R2″. I use this product if I have worn alot of makeup either the night before, or earlier that day. I just massage it into my face and neck, and then soak a cotton wool pad in warm water to wipe off.
I received the Elizabeth Arden Exfoliating Cleanser; free, when I bought two other Elizabeth Arden skincare products, on I wasn’t expecting much, seen as it was free, but I gave it a try anyway and i’m glad I did. I prefer to use it just to exfoliate my skin, rather than a cleanser. I use it about two times a week, on a Sunday and then again mid-week, just to get rid of any dead skin & grime. It leaves my skin really soft and nourished, it doesn’t have much of a scent but that doesn’t really bother me or put me off. I scrub this all over my face, using gentle circular motions, and then rinse it off using warm water.
I hope these reviews have been helpful, in some way, to people after new cleansers! I’d also love to hear of any cleansers, that you guys use and love. I’m currently waiting for my order from, that contains the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm. So i’ll do a review on that when I get it 🙂
Lots of Love
